Where to buy Milgard Windows: Can you ship everywhere?

Construction Windows is a leading Milgard Windows dealer that sells windows online to the majority of Milgard territory. We can only ship within select Zip Codes – enter your Zip Code and click “Build & Price” to see if the job site is within the deliverable territory.

All location addresses must be approved by Milgard shipping and verified accessible for delivery from a 52ft semi-truck. In rare cases, Milgard may need to coordinate delivery in an alternative location if the job site is inaccessible.

How much does a Milgard window cost?

Milgard windows can range greatly depending on the style, size, and options chosen. To get started, just enter your zip code and click “Build & Price” to get instant prices. You do not need to create an account, enter your email, or commit any personal information to get started.

Do my windows and doors include screens?

Yes, screens come standard with all windows and doors that have operable panels.

When will my order be delivered?

Lead times shown on the website are approximate and can vary. Within 2 – 4 days after your order is placed and you have signed the DocuSign you will receive an email with Milgard jobsite delivery date.

How much does it cost for shipping?

Shipping is typically a flat $299 fee – whether it is for 1 window, or 50 windows.

Why isn’t my zip code recognized?

Not all zip codes are within Milgard serviceable area. If you would like to double-check or feel this is an error, please contact us and we can verify whether or not you are within Milgard serviceable area.

What sizes do Milgard windows come in?

Since these are custom windows built to order, we do not provide a Milgard window size chart. We can provide any window size that falls within Milgard’s manufacturing capabilities which fluctuates from one style to another. In other words, available Milgard picture window sizes will differ from Milgard casement window sizes. Our window builder has those parameters implemented – so if you can build it in the window builder, Milgard can provide it.

I am not sure if my jobsite would be considered accessible for delivery– what should I do?

Please contact us and we can check your address ahead of placing the order.

Does someone have to be present for delivery?

YES! Someone must be available for unloading and inspecting of the windows upon receipt. Milgard’s policy is that if no one is on site to accept the windows, they will drop the windows off somewhere on site and they will not be held liable for any damage that may be found. You must inspect the windows for accuracy and damage and inform of Construction Windows within 5 days of receiving the order.

What is DocuSign, and why do I have to sign it?

DocuSign is an easy to use and secure way to sign off via electronic signature on final details of your order. While we feel our website is first class – it doesn’t show every nuance and detail that the Milgard printout does. In addition – we want to make sure that you understand the full process, terms, and conditions. While we have all of the terms and conditions on the website, and you agree to them when checking out, we want to give you one more chance to verify all the details. This is a large and important purchase - we want to make sure we are all on the same page. Finally, we want to show you a to-scale drawing of each window, specific energy ratings and gives you the opportunity to give your project one last review before ordering.

What is the ordering process?

After you have built your window project, and are ready to order, you will check out and pay for your order. Within 24 – 48 hours you will receive a DocuSign – you must sign this before the order will be submitted to Milgard. Within 2 – 4 days after you have signed the DocuSign, you will receive additional information from Construction Windows in regards to the delivery date and process. You will also receive a call directly from Milgard to coordinate delivery. 24 – 72 hours prior to the delivery you will receive another call from Construction Windows and/or Milgard to confirm delivery and again go over the logistics of said delivery.

Payment Terms

Full payment for product including sales tax and shipping is due during checkout. No exceptions.

Change Orders

Once the DocuSign has been signed, you cannot make any modifications, changes, or additions to the order.

Cancellations

Once the DocuSign has been signed, you cannot cancel the order in part or full.

Refunds

Once the DocuSign has been signed, no refunds will be made in part or full.

What is your return policy?

Because all windows are custom and made to order, we do not accept returns of any kind.

I don’t see a specific window option or feature that I want – what do I do?

Because of the vast amount of options available we are unable to list every possible option. If you need an option or feature not shown on the website, please contact us.

What is WUIBS?

WUIBS, or California's Wildland-Urban Interface Codes, are building codes specific to California that require buildings must be constructed with a certain level of fire-resistant materials when deemed to be located within a Fire Hazard Severity Zone. For windows, this means that doors and windows must be constructed of insulated units with at least one tempered pane. If you are unsure whether you are located within a zone required to meet WUIBS you should contact your local Building Department which issues building permits.
