About Construction Windows
The founders of Construction Windows, Jarred, and Travis, first came up with the idea of selling custom windows online in 2015 to complement their already successful brick and mortar window and glass shop. Taking inspiration from companies like Amazon, our founders realized that it’s only a matter of time before the window industry takes that same direction towards e-commerce.
We hope to revolutionize the window industry, and most importantly provide a quicker, more economical and easier way for contractors to buy windows—and to help contractors make more money with a more efficient process. We are a top Milgard windows dealer and have won multiple Dealer of the Month awards from Long Beach, CA to Monterey, CA. Meet the owners
Jarred grew up in the glass and window industry with some of his oldest memories being of running around the shop and learning to cut glass. Wanting to branch out from the glass industry, he took a job working for an underground crew. He quickly rose through the ranks and eventually became superintendent at age 28 and ran multiple public works projects which taught him how to manage and forecast large multi-million dollar projects. Jarred’s superiors were disappointed when he decided to leave his position as superintendent in order to move closer to home. Jarred would go on to buy a bankrupt glass shop, and using the skills he learned in the underground industry he was able to turn it around into one of the largest glass and window shops in the area, as well as one of the top Milgard dealers.
Travis started his career as a metal fabricator and welder. From an early age, he was also interested in computers and taught himself HTML, CAD, relational databases and a small amount of computer programming. Travis ended up joining Jarred at his glass and window shop in 2010 where he quickly worked his way to general manager, and partner of Construction Windows. Travis’ unique experience of construction, windows, and technology gave him the understanding that was quintessential to managing the creation of Construction Windows on the technology side and creating the structure and tools required to both run the company as well as work side by side with the web developers to create a completely custom and cutting-edge website.
